I don’t know if this was done before,but oden was one of the few people who could fight yonko kaido. And mihawk had numerous fights with yonko shanks.

Both can go toe to toe with a yonko. So do you think wins? Do you think mihawk is yonko level? Jozu a yonko commander could stop one of his powerful attacks meant for white beard

It was a powerful slash meant to cut a human, the World's Strongest Human, but still a human - the same human who was being cut by Marine fodder. And Jozu came in to block a slash meant to cut that, not Diamond. Re-read Zoro vs Mr.1 fight, Breath of All Things is a thing in One Piece's powersystem & Mihawk aimed that slash to cut Whitebeard and not to cut Diamond.

A similar interaction happened between Mihawk, Daz Bones and Luffy - Daz Bones blocked a slash from Mihawk aimed at cutting Luffy, but the moment Mihawk actually wanted to cut Daz Bones (steel), Daz Bones was one-shotted.

Black blade is just a durability buff you can equally powerful before and after the buff with the caveat of less durability before it.

given how Zoro being able to scar kaido with his strongest attack + crude Coc or bare minimum Coc with just one of his blades .. also the fact that he admits he's quite much weaker than Oden seeing the haki that he was imbuing in enma and AH..
should give yall an idea how busted Chaden was.

Regardless haki and strength are pivotal components when fighting extremely durable brutes

But against the WSS WAHK EYE WIHAWKEE its a different case.. i believe being the WSS doesn't only entail strength and haki but also subtlety of the blade.. if it was about being a barbaric brute with a sword then swordsmanship goes to dump totally..

It can go to an extreme diff with Mihawk winning... Oden is gonna be an the 2nd strongest swordsman.. I'm just giving Mihawk the benefit of the doubt coz he's WSS who has barely any feats yet.. but that ultimately means he has ample strength CoO, CoA and skill to be the Wss... and i also think Oden may surpass him in certain areas and is closer than people think based on portrayal and feats.

edit : i also wanna make it clear that Mihawk is definitively superior in CoO and potentially skills as well (hence the subtly of the swords thing) as for Coa and strength.. I'll leave that in the grey spectrum

Mihawk haki is stronger
Mihawks sword is a grade higher
Mihawks sword is also black.
The stronger the sword the stronger your haki needs to be.
