Lol Mihawk is going to go crazy when he fights Zoro. In order for Oda to make him live up to the hype of being the greatest swordsman and fighting Shanks, he would have to surpass every sword feat shown thus far. When those chapters come out, people are going to hype Mihawk up as the strongest in the series, mark my words lol.
Oda gave two of the "Worlds Strongest" title holders incredible feats to make them live up to their titles during Marineford and Onigashima. The fact that people think he wouldn't do justice to the third Worlds Strongest Title holder is actually insane to me lol. Mihawk is being reserved for the endgame for a reason.
Facts. We have never even seen him go all out. We don’t even know his bounty yet (he clearly must have one if the Marines are hunting him). He was introduced so early and has remained at the top of the verse. People are insane if they do not realize that his power is about to be ridiculous compared to what we’ve from other sword users.
Yeah, at this point 1 Billion+ bounties are the norm - heck even Zoro and Sanji are probably crossing that. Which probably means that expecting a 2-3 Billion bounty for Mihawk to hype the moment where we get the Warlord's adjusted bounties is rational since it'd be weird if his bounty is comparable to Zoro's. And even that is actually insane given his lack of threat to WG and how he is a lone wolf type character. And also reflects on his powerlevel since thats what its gonna be based on primarily.
Regarding the sword feats, we have already seen insane cutting feats from Zoro - the Pica cut, Rooftop Hiryu Kaen cutting the other side of Onigashima Island as collateral showcasing an Island wide range, Perma Scarring Kaidou with Ashura etc,. If Oda wants to top that, then Mihawk is legitimately gonna look insane!
The people who compared him to Vista all this while are gonna look like actual clowns.

Let's assume Oden started to improve his Advanced CoC after travelling with both Roger and WB.
If he wasn't dead, would he have been able to turn Enma and Ame no Habakiri into black swords in these 20 years?
That's the interesting discussion, because current Mihawk vs 39 years old Oden isn't, Mihawk stomps. Plus Oda has to pretend that Kaido hasn't met nor fought Mihawk so as not to answer the WSS question directly LOL.

I'm willing to concede that, but then Roger was also at his peak with 39 in God Valley and not with 50+ something when fighting Whitebeard and Oden?
Different people may have different peak ages. And Shanks is too murky of a debate because we haven't seen a single attack from him and we don't know why Kaido considers him to be at his level.
