Robin's character was incomplete when she joined, she had a delayed arc in W7/EL where we actually discovered her background and she grew to trust the crew.
Yamato's arc should be over at the end of the arc, considering her background isn't a mystery and she fully trust Luffy already.
If she joins like this, she's by far the worst straw hat

In Jaya we then learn he came from the North Blue.
In Zou/WCI...well...you know where I'm going with this.
