Maybe, but if Luffy is going to fight Yonko, his best men need to be YC lvl being Sanji and Zoro, so doesn't make sense their full power will be just YV and that's it. Got have Luffy moment like facing Katakuri to match up perfectly power-wise as he can't leave TOO much of a gap between them, but of course being stronger one.

Zoro & sanji being closer to Luffy was never a thing since pre ts
Luffy was always beating guys 2x above zoro/sanji. Lucci/enel/croco/moriah.
Currently Luffy is way ahead of them both, they cant close the gap ever with just enma/RS.

"But Zoro clashed fuji a bit/Sanji blocked BM" yeah even Rakuyo clashed Kizaru and wasn't Koed. Killer also fought kaido till he collapsed yet he never impressed Kaido like Kidd did.
A veteran can also stall/clash a top tier for some short time

Zoro & Sanji might not even fight King and queen this arc. Oda can use commanders to hype SN trio. He doesnt care as long as Luffy grows to be solid top tier, the rest can catch up to be YC in later arcs.

Nah, I was there too and Zoro fans were the worse out there even on here. Sanji fans didn't bash Sanji or complain that loudly, only Zoro Fans who got toxic and 'Wait For Zoro's Year! So, it was a matter of self esteem for them, and therefore when he used it, they just lost it.

The other half believed that he'd use it against an important and lethal fighter like a YC, in this scenario it was Queen. But when he had to use it against a fighter who was lot less powerful than any YC, they too were outraged, bcoz usually you use a PU against an enemy who is proving difficult to deal with.

And now it turns out , that Sanji didn't even succeeded in doing what he promised he would.... All is well with P1 and he's probably enjoying the banquet.

Anime is not canon, bro. Idk why your taking it seriously he didn't beat PO when anime already did things different in past scenes thus far. PO is down as this look more miscommunication than he will come back if he haven't this far deep when we about to hit war fight.

As expected Toei expand on the fight. They will do the same for every fight in Wano (I can’t wait for Roger vs WhiteBeard), so i hope that the quality will be the same

coming to the current point..I don't think anime is entirely non-canon and fillers that conveys the same meaning as in manga/or adding fillers that provides the proper context to off paneled things in manga can be considered canon...but, this is entirely stupid way of conclusion...in manga, even it was not shown, it is heavily hinted that Sanji came out victorious and it partially justifies the objective of "reducing enemy forces" but in anime, it completely shits on Sanji as an incompetent for not finishing the objective which I didn't like personally...they should stop shitting on characters they don't like.....

I am wondering what they will do to "Sanji vs Drake"...

I agree on animation, but I am shock you guys take it so seriously in thread when everyone never push it as canon. They were even complaining during Luffy and Zoro moments lol.

Both sides have extreme and annoying wankers but the Zoro fans will always have more extreme annoying wankers, they are not only annoying but they will sometimes insult others, do nothing but character bash especially if it's Sanji, sometimes be hypocritical, and if you make a joke or even criticize Zoro they get angry and become very defensive. They are allowed to make a joke or even criticize Sanji, but apparently you are not allowed to do the same thing to Zoro.

I like Zoro as a character and I know there some decent Zoro fans out there, but the many extreme Zoro wankers will always make the normal Zoro fans look bad.

Regarding whether Sanji defeated Page1 or Not
First of all, although as a manga reader and Sanji fan I advocated for him being defeated, but it was NOT absolutely concluded or shown in manga.

Also, although Sanji before the fight eluded to finishing him off, BUT there are THREE clues AFTER the fight that tells you that Page1 was still conscious after the fight was over

1- When both Sanji and Zoro saved O-toko, people in the capital identified Zoro as "Magistrate killer" and Sanji as "O-soba shop owner who beat Kyoshiro family members". So, if Page1 was truly eliminated... perhaps people would have put that feat over standing to some thugs from Kyoshiro family and said "that's soba shop owner who beat Page1". So, that can be one clue

2- Drake vs Sanji, Drake has not mentioned "you're the one who took down Page1" line which is used in Shonen always to confirm a comclusion for the fight

3- and most importantly, Sanji has announced the name "O-Soba mask" infront of only "Page1, Law, Usopp, Franky". Only those four Sanji announced his name as "Osoba mask". And the importance of this is that Drake when he was looking for Sanji, he was looking for "O-soba Mask" and not the "Soba shop owner"
So... it's been on my mind.. but it was very likely that Drake got a chance to SPEAK to Page1 and Page 1 told him about Sanji and identified him as "O-Soba Mask"

That's the biggest clue that Page1 did not really STAY KNOCKED OUT after Sanji fight. Also Page1 looks strong this way... better fo Sanji honestly... feels like he can defeat him anyway if battle continues but also gives credit to how tough Page1 is to not be defeated fast.. which makes Sanji look better (from my view) but I know people are so used to one shotting now with Oda so they cannot comprehend that concept Lol

Also, this is something many people said before, but if Hol D. EM was back after being defeated from Luffy so fast... do you all expect Page1 to stay knocked out for 2 weeks until the battle starts? Lol considering he's Flying 6, Ancient Zoan.

The episode was good animation wise... funny... transformation was good... Law scenes were fun with his exaggeration and face... And that lask kick was nice touch...

It was nicely done episode... I still stand by what I said last week to TRUST in Anime as a good source to use for debates (people can disagree, it's fine)

Anyway, 4.5/5 episode

The only reason I did not give it 5 is the mid eoisode transition
They should have made a transition for Germa Sanji in this particular episode (and not stay with just Luffy and Zoro transition) the same way they did with Germa at WCI

You have good points, but biggest issue is if PO was never truly down, why Oda push he needed to be defeated by Law's and Sanji's conversation? Plus if we take this as canon, why never he return to track him down? Why he wasn't there with Drake and Hawkins to finish to the end? It feels off a lot as it looks more like mistake on their part than Oda hiding something as he would have shown in same state like Holdem if he was active in the end.
