Actually current ending is what you calll for kids.
it's a shounen manga. not a seinen.
Raid failing would be better if they didn't extend arc like this.
That's a more realistic approach. Luffy went from Barely 1st commander lvl to yonkou lvl. This kind of jump in poer is what kids like not adults.

You are rational enough? You mean you just accepted that Oda fumbled the bag massively?
Well if that's the case, we can admit that this arc was an utter disappointment and move on.
People still regard Oda as a good mangaka, that's why there is such a denial in the community about the ending.
