i believe that character design should reflect their strength and the nature of their heart.
i know the chapter says that he lacks strength, but he does look strong and kind, and that is something i really appreciate.
it gives an idea on what kind of man he will grow up to be.

Oda was smart to have kept him in Dragon Form this whole time. He still seemed like a child, just an overgrown one. Between Momo's maturation and his drastically different design, it's easy to forget he's still an 8 year old overwhelmed by the responsibilities coming his way. I did like the little moment when he deferred to Kin for advice. He's come to see him as a 2nd father.
It looks like a bad ass design where it doesn't even look like a typical One Piece character. But if one thing One Piece has thought us is that designs shouldn't matter on how you rate a character. If all of a sudden Momo gets more popular because of how cool he looks, that only shows how superficial the fanbase is. Momo has yet to develop as a character so if you guys hated him before the design then you should be consistent.
