First Ace death and WB death are super important and were great. So removing them to compare doesn’t really make sense. It was part of that arc and part of that arc greatness.

Then WB character was legendary during MF : him growing old, still mad strong. Squardo stab, WB vs Aka, WB vs Teach etc. WB was a top character.

Akainu was also great antagonist. Good mind games with Squardo. Always a threat. On a war path and unstoppable etc. Akainu did a great job.

Luffy and Impel down convict coming to MF was awesome and crazy. Totally one piece - like. Hype and comedy. Same with Buggy in MF and Galdino etc.

Luffy first COC burst was hype.

Lots of great clash and hype for numerous characters. WB commanders, admirals etc.

Garp and Ace relationship and Garp character.

MF had its flaws I don’t say otherwise but it blows Wano by a wide margin.
