I like pre-ts OP more than HxH even I find HxH writing superior overall, can't really explain why.
but HxH >>> post-ts One Piece in term of personal enjoyment for me

Not even Togashi cares as much about HxH as some of his hardcore fanboys do, man simply goes back to playing his dragon quest games after releasing 5 chapters, while his fanboys defend him on forums

it is obvious togashi already reached in hxh the same point he reached in yyh after the dark tournament arc. he feels like he has already exhausted all he wanted to show with the main cast and lost interest in them and in that world.
with yyh he purposefully lowered the quality of the manga so shueisha would allow him to finish it but apparently they are not letting go of hxh.

the best would be if they let him make a forced ending for hxh so he could start a new series that was pre determined to only last 3 or 4 arcs since more than that he will lose interest.

It wasn't full on BS though. Nen grows stronger by death, this is an iron rule in hxh introduction in the beginning. Togashi merely picked up the concept and added more to it. Hisoka gave his Nen a last command that activates after his death and whether it works or not was luck.

Was it bad ? Yes

Yeah but the way Post Mortem Nen is handled is just stupid

No abilities like that should exist in a series. It’s literally just a free revive

Really, what are the limits? Ging said when Kite really doesn’t wanna die he can roll a number that prevents his death/brings him back

Only issue I have with HxH is the seemingly over the top exposition dumps when we don't really need it... But other than that, it's an entertaining read... I'd still put berserk over it though

We haven't even reached the Dark Continent part which is supposed to be vast but people out here rather see Hisoka pull out his revival bs and not without a downgrade he even returns stronger from that
