Morgans wank called Luffy the 5th Emperor but nobody of note actually acknowledged it, even now, they wouldn't be called "Yonko" if there were five of them all along.

As for your point about Yonko not being about strength, seriously? Give an example of a weak person with a ridiculous crew being a Yonko, you can't, all Yonko are or were at some point top 10 in the verse easily.

Yonko titles aren't official titles that are gifted to you after winning a competition. They are well-accepted rumors. And the fact that someone like Morgans, or anyone for that matter, would even entertain the idea that Luffy could be an emperor without being a top-tier clearly proves the title isn't about the captain having a top-tier power level.
