Yeah it was worse than most of these. She just turned into a gag character where the story ignores all the shit she did and why she did them to say "she's nuts guys. She literally has no control over her own faculties but don't worry, this time her boner for Sanji is a good enough explanation for why she's no longer a threat to anyone and why we should no longer care about anything she did before"

I honestly think the opposite. When she was revealed as evil, Oda develop small but important panels developing Pudding's ideas and how she doesn't like how Big Mom views her, all to lead up to her 180 later in the arc. I think it was done really well
