My hatred is almost centered on Martin's inability to produce a book moreso than the shitty show.

Considering how shitty the show's ending was, how shitty Wano was, sometimes I think leaving immaculate treasures is better than milking them until you ruin them.
So....I'm totally patient about TWOW and accepted that he will never finish the series.
