I've always held the belief that Indies should claim, it's mutually beneficial to factions and the Indie, and allows them to operate as a swing presence in the game. I don't know what idea you have about it, but it seems to be mistaken. It's not pearl clutching when I can evidence flipped scum openly angling to work with Indies that were more harmful to them in one game recently, only to go out of their way to try and ruin my game this one. I also don't think I've been all that swingy this game, because my decision was already made for me Day 2. I don't mind heat, and I don't mind (reasonable) arguments, but if I'm going to have to hear that I need to post my opinions and then when I do I should shut up because I'm Scum, then i'm going to contest it. Any other angle has been around what I would consider suboptimal position.
