King doesn't have flames on in this and damaging his helmet isn't the same as damaging his body. King took no damage from the attack.
Well, he made Kaido vocally admit his attacks are hurting him when he doesn't even have CoC. Common sense dictates that CoC+CoA attacks are>>>>CoA attacks.
It's not a matter of quantity but quality. None of the attacks Kaido took even comes to close to Dragon Damnation besides Bajrang Gun.
Pretty, sure it damage King but it wouldn't even come close to KO'ing him. It's weaker than Dead Man's Game, which in turn, is far weaker than Dragon Damnation, which defeated King.
"hurting Kaido" you mean when he didn't even knock him down on his knee

After Luffy only getting 3 billion I’m going to alter my powerscaling and say that first of all there’s no such thing as Yonko level or Admiral level, it’s called being a top tier which encompasses all great pirates, Admirals and individuals like Mihawk and Rayleigh; right now Luffy is a top tier but that doesn’t mean he can defeat every top tier there is.
Luffy’s power scaling should be Base Luffy(G2/3/4) and Gear 5th Luffy. Base Luffy(2/3/4) is top tier but barely and when he uses Gear 5th he is at the same level as other Bonfide top tiers

Exactly this. It seems to me that oda sometimes doesn’t even knows what he’s doing, rooftop seemed a lot like fan service and since he wanted that to be luffys fight, he couldn’t allow law and kid to do severe damage to kaido as an example. People have to start using their brain. Franky could smash big mom out of the castle but she had 0 damage it makes no sense, those moments are just there for fan service and people eat them like important information
They need a better crew, and a bit more strength themselves to be honest, they just unlocked awakening.
Give them some time to be used with it, Law learning FS for even easier dodging or Adv CoA to amplify his shockwaves, give them manpower only then they can see them have the power to keep the status.
Buggy did def something huge as in someone else for him, either Mihawk/Weevil or both did some insane feat and attribute them as underlings, and/or his impel down recruits actually did something huge for him and have grown stronger.
