Yes the gym leaders are stronger and the Pokémon league gets a buff after you beat all the gym leaders

man, that sucks tha, I wanted to try them to get to normal kanto like in gen one... I love second game just becous eof it , and would love one game to feauture both regions

thats what made crystal special to me. I couldnt believe I could come back to Kanto, but was dissapointed of how lack luster it was and thought maybe soul silver had bigger and better Kanto than gb game... my first was yellow so and I still lov eit but prefer second gen

The gen I’m looking forward to replaying the most is gen 5 tbh

Played it this year(thanks to Eten) and it was really great.
I played all gens but skip the 5gen(didn´t liked it back then and also was in school, didn´t care much for Pokemon during that time).
But I played it and it was so great, really understand now why people loved it.
