The fraternity I'm thinking of joining is different than the stereotypical one. They're professional and are active within the community. They hold fun frat events but they don't just party everyday or something.
Didn't mean about partying either. Fraternity is about networking, you will be surprised just how much of that is actual college life

Oh, yeah, I already learned about how important networking is. I joined a club during my freshman year and holy shit, the amount of connections I made.

Youngsters and their dreams.

In my university days I would stay at the student's dorm playing games and smoking weed.

That was for 4 months only though

Yes, and that's why I'm moving on from mafia. Playing and hosting takes up a lot of my time. Time I could spend doing relevant stuff that will actually help me achieve my goals. Mafia isn't helping me achieve my goals. Forums aren't helping me achieve my goals.
I do appreciate this sentiment, but I see it far more as a hobby. It happens to be a hobby that works the brain, and offers several positive effects from engaging with it. Such as critical thinking. I think as with all things, you need merely to find a balance Drago.

Lol, we'll see. I got only one game on my phone and I barely login to it each day. Though, that isn't necessarily cause I don't have time. I just kinda forget about it.

Doing a lot of activities is good.

Keeps you in shape and with energy and a feel of fulfillment in life

Some meditation to balance things out would do wonders too.

shoo shoo let the boy study, we will find you someone else to heal while you DPS
Lolol

Since u brought up healer: when i started playing it i had the opinion that i dont need a healer if i do enough damage to kill everything before it hits me, which changed cause of some of the mobs and me not doing enough dmg as low level

Now i have Zhongli (best shielder in the game) so dont need a healer anymore lol

idk why everyone dislikes playing support, i love playing support and changing the tides of the game

In guild wars 2 no one fucking heals during boss raids, meanwhile when i was leading world bosses i always issued a squadron or mages and paladins to heal and buff/debuff

I overall had way less deaths in my parties than any other squadron leader

DPS is fine and all but a good support is worth twice as much as a good dps

I also stay out of home too most of the day.

Weekends and hours spent out of work I'm outside and only late at night do I get back home.

Like now it's 1 a.m. here and I'm finally arriving home lol

I can definitely agree that it helps improve your mind skills. My critical thinking has improve because of it. But the thing is, I'm not gonna be able to put mafia on my resume. If I'm spending 3-4 hours a day doing something, then I want that time to be spent on something that I can put on my resume.

There's an opportunity cost to me playing/hosting mafia. If I have the opportunity to do something else that will help me achieve my goals, then I'd rather take that opportunity.

Well, in my French class, we had a couple of speaking tests spread throughout the semester but not everyday.
you lucky sons of bitches

We had up to 7 different classes per day and each class you were eligible to be summoned up for an oral exam. And then when you consider i spend around 13 hours away from the home, lets say 2 to hours of rest and entertainment leaves you with 8 hours to study and sleep.

i am envious of how much you guys have free time there lol
