idk why everyone dislikes playing support, i love playing support and changing the tides of the game

In guild wars 2 no one fucking heals during boss raids, meanwhile when i was leading world bosses i always issued a squadron or mages and paladins to heal and buff/debuff

I overall had way less deaths in my parties than any other squadron leader

DPS is fine and all but a good support is worth twice as much as a good dps
I dont mind having a good support, thats why Bennet is best healer and buffer overall so far in the game. Heals and adds dmg to ur characters, what else would one want ahaha. Game has some really good supports that could boost ur dmg by a lot

But ya again, if u take no damage ur not gonna need a healer, Zhongli is best husbando

I've been thinking about doing meditation. I got a book about it. Haven't read it yet though.
Meditation is good to not feel overwhelmed.

Doing it when we have free time can do wonders.

It's like a muscle and going to the gym, a little bit everyday and we get the hang of it and slowly we get better at it.

For beginners imagining/focusing on a single colored dot is enough or start by staring at a lit candle for a while to slow down the brain.

Still tho, when I was teaching my friend how to play GW2 I was a healer to her and we could clear bosses just the two of us where a solo DPS couldn't

Genshin sounds like it has double classes, supports that can heal and do damage, not sure how i feel about that

This reminds me that I once read of an extremely advanced meditation called "Sun gazing" where peeps would get all the energy and "nutrients" from staring at the sunset everyday focusing solely on it.

Guys would go weeks without eating.

Meditation is overrated.

You don't need some yoga pose and breathing to calm a monkey in your head. You just need determination

That is also true.

There's another component to it where you become more detached from your programmed brain and/or ego and you listen more to your intuition/soul but granted that's on the more spiritual side and not everyone believes in it.

The whole spiritual stuff always irked me. I think people are too influenced by popular media to think they need some yoga, incense, tea and god knows what else to access their inner soul.

In reality you just need determination and willpower to focus your energy into whatever is in front of you.

You are distracted, unmotivated, depressed?
Meditating won't help, praying won't help
You know what does help? Getting off your ass and actually working on yourself

D

Dragomir

you lucky sons of bitches

We had up to 7 different classes per day and each class you were eligible to be summoned up for an oral exam. And then when you consider i spend around 13 hours away from the home, lets say 2 to hours of rest and entertainment leaves you with 8 hours to study and sleep.

i am envious of how much you guys have free time there lol
We don't have long classes like that which is great as it leaves us with free time but a good college student is not only just supposed to use that time to study but to do other things in order to get ahead in life, do you get me? That's what I'm trying to do. Classes alone aren't sucking up all the time in my life, but classes + extracurriculars + volunteering + sports + jobs + applications will. I want to make myself busy in real life.

I perfectly get what you mean, and i'll i am gonna say - think carefully what you will need to cut from that list when time comes from it

Ah yeah that's the New Age Movement that started in the 70's

That got monetized really fast.

All in all I agree with you in every part except that if you feel overwhelmed then doing some slow down exercise like meditation is the best thing you can do.

Feeling depressed and unmotivated then meditation won't help with that. Activities will.

It's like that thing of Yin and Yang. Meditation, night, feminine is Yin (inwards towards self). Too much can lead to depression and the like.

Activities, sun, masculine is Yang (outwards towards the world). Too much leads to a loss of focus and directions without much added value.

A balance it's the best thing.

If we believe in this stuff.

I'm getting too much into this already lol

When i used to work with depressed people the advice i almost always gave is excerise, job/school, hobby

People think working out doesnt help with depression but it does. It gives you confidence and energy. Depressed people stagnate physically and always feel weak/tired hence the need to stay in bed

Job/school keeps you focused on the issue of survival and better more certain future

Hobbies are there to feed your soul with stuff you like

Depression is nothing more but stagnation, to fight it you need progress

Tbh the only one who would fall under the double class as heal and damage dealer would be Jean, maybe Kokomi too. And both of these girls would need a bit of investment to be really worth it. Zhongli is just best shielder cause of spoilers and he can do some damage too, but again it needs a bit of investment if u want him to do damage and ud prolly have to sacrifice some shield strength as well. Always depends on the rest of ur team and how u build them

Bennett isnt recommended as damage dealer since hes support af, heals and buffs damage of other characters in ur group which depends on his base attack stats. Guess i worded my previous post weird

Wait, so how.does itemization work if the roles are prearranged?

Uuhh.. i think i have to explain that.. well basically u can have a max of 4 characters in ur team, switching between them while fighting monsters to buff/heal/whatever is usually a thing to end up killing them faster. Some charas can heal/buff/do dmg in different ways so if ur fighting certain monsters and have fitting characters to counter them fast then thats good

Charas like Jean who can heal and do dmg is p much not really a wasted slot in ur team since she can do 2 things, supports like that waste less time on field if they make up for it with a bit dmg. Its recommended to have at least one DPS chara in ur team if u wanna deal with monsters fast, idk but id put Jean (as example) as 4th slot while having Beidou, Raiden and maybe Xiangling for the other 3 slots (these are mostly there for damage).

(Does that answer ur question or are u asking about customized characters and how to make them fit in teams?)

Ah so it is basically like an JRPG, Divinity and all them turn based RPG'S

what i meant is, if your character have prearrabged roles how do you give them items? Like do you buy new armors? Weapons?

There's weapons that u can find (kinda meh ones), craft (not many but theyre decent enough), ones that u can earn by joining events when they're up (one every other patch has smth new with different stats on it) and then theres the gacha weapons that are p good, some of them are best in slot for certain 5 star charas.
The armor ur referring to is artifacts we have to farm from domains, theres 5 different types with all sorts of stats on them. If u manage to get good artifacts fitting for ur character then u can hit big numbers on monsters, or make supports better at healing, etc.

We can also level artifacts to get their stats higher, same for weapons where we have to also farm domains to ascend them at certain weapon-level (like characters themselves they can go up to lvl 90), they can also get refined with weapons that are the same to make their stats better

Ah i see.

Yeah as you said, like gacha, reminds me of Dislyte in terms of levelibg and gameplay
