And yet he was brought down to sanjis level . Deal with it . If you wanna cry to someone cry to oda . Continue nursing your wounds and ls . Zoro is not the mc of op and would never be . Let that sink in
Lanji's level is getting fodderized by Vergo, incapable of moving Dofla with his strongest moves in the same arc that Zoro oneshotted Vergo's superior and pushed back an Admiral with a flying slash. Lanji's level is dreaming of hurting a shitter like Queen the same way that Zoro hurt a nearly invincible Kaido. I don't need to go further than this. :myman:

I don't get the problem with that

Oda already gives Zoro more fights than Sanji, since combatant is his role.

Sanji is just as strong as Zoro and fights when he needs to :kayneshrug:

Oda is "messed up" in many ways, but this is not one of them. The only Sanji opponent that's canonically comparable to Zoro's opponent is Jabura, where base Jabura's doriki is similar to base Kaku's doriki.

The rest of the time is y'all power-scaling gag panels and pulling stuff like "Zoro uses KoH against base Sanji." And then some of you freak out when someone doesn't say that Sanji is a 99 to Zoro's 100, as if it is downplaying Sanji to call him anything but Zoro's equal or "near-equal." It's like saying Zoro is stronger means that Sanji is a low diff for him in the brains of some people.

So because the other opponents don't have doriki calculator, automatically means Zoro's opponents are far superior and incomparable to Sanji's?

This is exactly what I was talking about. The only thing I said was that Jabura is the only major Sanji opponent that's actually proven to be comparably powerful to Zoro's opponent. I never once said that all of Zoro's opponents are "far superior."

The only info we have most of the time is the generic strength-ranking of the opponents. We know Mr. 1 is stronger than Mr. 2, but we don't know by how much. We know King is stronger than Queen, but we don't know by how much. Yet some of you guys take it as an insult if someone doesn't believe that the gap between their opponents is so small that it might as well be nonexistent. Even the term "comparable" is very vague and people tend to have differing views on where the line in the sand actually lies.

Not trying to go into war or anything, but Mr1 is, by far, one of the most overrated enemies in One Piece.
Dude was EXTREMELY hard carried by his DF.
He's not "strong". He just got a "hack"skill.

The gap being "small" is an insult for you?

We know Zoro always get the second dude and sanji get the third dude who is not far behind the second dude.

The point is that the real gap is between 2/3 dudes and the rest of the enemy's crew, just like Kaku/Jabra, King/Queen. Zoro and Sanji are a lot stronger and more important than the others SHs, which is the point of the thread.

Idk where you got that from. I said some of you guys take it as an insult if someone says the gap ISNT microscopic. I never said I take anything as an insult.

I'm not commenting on how large I personally think the gap is. There's no real right answer, but there are definitely some wrong answers.

I just asked

Cause you make it sound like something absurd :kayneshrug:
I don't think it's a huge gap the way that some people want it to be, and I don't think it's a microscopic/nonexistent gap the way that others want it to be.

Personally, I think Oda definitely makes Zoro/Sanji opponents closer in strength to each other than to other members of the crew/group (i.e. King is closer to Queen than he is to Kaido, and Queen is closer to King than he is to Jack) but I don't think that means that the two of them have to be near-equals necessarily.

So, in the end, instead of >>>>>>>> or >= garbage, it's just >.
