As Harlan leaves the ruins with his prize, he doesn't notice a cloaked figure hiding in the forest.

A Woman, carrying a staff, and the tip of her fingers are all painted in red blood.

It seems she was watching the entire conflict.

"Well, two should be enough!"

After a few minutes since Harlan left, the woman walks out from the forest and enters the ruins.

On the tip of her staff, there's another red stone dripping with blood, just like the one the party found.

"We will bring you home once again, Thargrork"

"We even found the Prince my master, by pure luck"

”Harlan was born and lived his entire life at the Kingdom's capital's slums. Most of his friends also came from the same origins, learning to lie and steal was elementary for everyone living down there. But with time, the lower levels of the city started getting clouded with a nasty dusty mist. A few years after, the people living there started dying one by one with a horrible sickness that destroyed their lungs slowly. The rich and the powerful didn't care. Harlan was among the few left, when he was 18 he was already having to steal to take care of a bunch of kids who lost their parents, while having to endure the pain from his own lungs. One day, an old man showed up with promises of treatment, food and shelter, he was an accomplished scientist from another town far away from the capital. Harlan had to accept it, since they had no other choice. The old man tricked them into thinking they were guests, when they were actually lab rats. He replaced Harlan's organs, turned him into a hybrid of human and machine. Harlan found out the old man was also behind the dusty mist, called Death Cloud, he was using the slums to test his biological weapons and now he was using the last few survivors to experiment on how to have people survive that just in case. With his new improved body and some cleverness, Harlan was able to escape and kill the old man and his lackeys, but unfortunately all the other kids were already dead from the experiments. Searching the facility documents Harlan found out the old man worked for a woman called Makyhyia, and she was the one paying and asking for these experiments. With a new objective in mind, Harlan left and started searching for this woman. Eventually, the lone cyborg rogue got information that this woman was in fact the leader of the Monster Hunter Guild and he decided to infiltrate the guild as another member, to rise it's ranks so he could get a chance to meet her. While most people in that guild are hunting monsters, Harlan was hunting for the worst of them"
