Questions & Mysteries The meaning of Death appearing to Zoro

#61
I hope not....he would have to indulge in adding that to all other swords...and since its one piece it might apply to all things too who knows.
Well idk I don’t thing it would be a bad thing for sword lore that is I look at it like this

1.In chap 97 ipon matsu is explaining kitetsu and how people die tragic deaths wielding those swords Oda draws a panel with kitetsu in it with a wavy pattern and then he ends ipon matsu words with the sword chooses the swordsman

2. In chap 1033 when zoro removers the old man from his village he remembers being told by him a sword has its own personality a swordsman must master it ,and bend it to his will again in this panel Oda gives us that wavy pattern like he did in chap 97

3. in chap 1038 we are introduced to the reaper who has the wavy background again just like the previous two examples, at this point it’s not a coincidence to me

so for zoros swords to have it and probably mihawk Oda could just skip over the other people I wouldn’t mind that especially if it’s Like a swordsman had to be one with his sword to even see it’s personality… who knows time will tell

I am not against sword lore...but I know that as of now oda is skipping stuff...he basically won't give us good details. So I would rather him not mention anything at all which would add to plot/story telling but he cannot explain it properly in the manga. It sucks.

I think the plot was reserved for later

it’s just I hate it… because Oda does that everytime… whenever he creates a plot, he ends up skipping it and keeps on teasing it over and over and over, until we get bored.. and say “fuck it… we don’t care” and by the time he reveals it, we would be faaaar ahead in other plots we care more about to see than this old one… and those new plots gets pushed and delayed the same…

this is my biggest issue with Oda’s writing… it’s nice to delay some plots… BUT don’t do it for each and everyone… sometimes it’s nice to start a surprising plot this chapter, and we get to see it right away… but delaying everyone… that’s annoying

The Voice of all Swords
Imagining Zoro arguing with his swords during combat is giving me life.

According to Oda, this is what the Wado Ichimonji/Sandai Kitetsu/Shusui would look like as dudes:

So. Uh. Yeah. Who knows what Emna looks like under the hood.

Yeah I don't want Zoro's swords to come alive either

This is a YouTube comment I saw on one of Joygirl’s video. The video discussed what the role of the ancient weapon Pluton is. One person questioned the possibility of the Grim Reaper as Pluton’s klabautermann.

We know Pluton is a battleship. I wonder what exactly makes it so powerful. Is it the size or materials? Is the ship something that can only be sailed by a powerful crew?

Skypeia introduced Merry’s klabautermann. While Merry’s klabautermann was a docile spirit, if Pluton is the klabautermann of Pluton then it may not be as docile. After all Pluton is a battleship capable of destroying islands easily.

Also Pluton makes me think of Pluto the Roman god of the Underworld. It’s been a while since I have researched Roman and Greek mythology, and I may combine both elements so feel free to correct me. Don’t the dead journey through the underworld on boats? So I wonder if Pluton has a connection to the One Piece version of the underworld.

I am not entirely sure how an ancient weapon, especially a battleship connects to Zoro, but I really want Oda to start giving us answers that connect different mysteries to the endgame. Maybe since he confronted death and returned from hell, then he somehow awakened Pluton. Also it would be ironic and hilarious if Zoro the most directionally challenged character is the one connected to a battleship.

Act 4 is coming. How many times did it look like this story was falling apart, and not satisfying, only for something crazy to happen?

I don't know everything that's going to happen in One Piece, no one does besides Oda. I just try to analyze his writing. One Piece made me want to be a better person, and love people. Oda made me want to live, so I'm willing to put my faith in Oda, and wait until the series is over to judge One Piece fully.

Zoro is going to get his. Oda just went on break, to make sure Zoro Kills Kaido looks as badass as possible.

FINALBETA! SAY YOU WANT TO ZKK! I have faith in Oda. Marineford had a lot of negative reaction when it happened. Now, Marineford is viewed as an amazing arc.

Do you actually think ZKK is over? Don't be afraid to post cringe opinions on the internet. I know you still believe in ZKK. I'm going down with the ship, how about you? Let's keep believing until this damn mosshead fucking kills Kaido.

:zosmug:
Yep ZKK is not totally dead just yet, the odds look abysmal though :josad:

The darkness is what makes the Dawn bright. We're going to see that Samurai kill that Dragon.
I posted this yesterday we will see:josad:

Whomever thinks Loda didn't commit a tragic blunder with the way he handled Zoro and Kaido after all the crystal clear portrayal about his desire to kill Kaido, the entrusting of Enma and the prophecy of the 9 shadows in relation to Oden's Moon tattoo as an hint of a continuation process and even the parallel with Ryuma portrayed by Hyogoro and Kawamatsu should get their brains checked I mean. :josad:

The insanity still reigns supreme on this cursed site.

When you create headcannon that can happen. It’s not Oda’s fault if you set yourselves up for something that was never going to happen. Grim Reaper was just to show that Zoro was close to death.
This👆

There was a point in the Arc that the Zorot4rds had become soo braindead in ZKK that they started to see things that werent happening in the manga.

It was like, "Kaido is invincible in air, Zoro breath air, Zoro lungs being able to breath the air where Kaido is invincible is a clear foreshadow that Zoro will breath all the air around Kaido to kill him, If this dont happen Oda is the worst mangaka ever "
