I think people make it more of an issue than it needs to be.
2 Yonkou fell and the Navy took their combined bounties and divided them by the 3 captains of the alliance.
It may not accurately reflect their threat and power level and especially not what each contributed but i guess the Navy/WG isn't analysing feats.

has got to be the biggest bounty increase in the entire series, even bigger than BB jumping from 0 to 2.2 bil in 2 years

interesting take! But smells like an overdose of copium.
It makes sense with the narrative Oda went for which is the WG trying to hide Luffy's df and even the D in his name, it was easier to do that by just giving the same credit to the 3 captains. They gave a yonko spot to Luffy because he has a far superior crew than the other 2 and a big ass fleet.
It's really no big deal to give them such an amount for their bounty.
I would say that it's not reflecting their respective strength but they should be close to the level you expect for a 3 billions bounty character by EOS.
