I always found it weird how the anime never introduces the male MCs from the games into the story, I'd imagine it would be a highly hyped episode since many kids would see themselves through that character

and it's not like they don't exist, I remember seeing the gen 3 protag in a movie

Oda even had a plan back in EL, via using Garp to hype Yasopp.
Yet 957 was enough for me, the way how Oda hype these 3, im sure they will be build different, better then all commanders who we got so far.

I think that Ben is comparable to Shanks.
There’s a huge gap between Kaido and King and Big Meme and Katakuri but I think that Ben will be an exception
Lucky and Yasopp will also be above any YC1

Yeah I agree in case, just think about it.
Why Ben,Lucky and Yasopp are the only commanders named along the Yonkou, neither King(1.39) or Katakuri(1.057) been mentioned alongside with Kaido/Big mom, yet these 3 above been mentioned with Shanks, make their own big name and it fit to the panel with Garp and Usopp, when Garp tell him that Yasopp was a feared in the new world(hyping him as big Pirate) and named as Chaser...

True, especially that they made their names separately to the level where they are a much bigger threat to marine than the mentioned above. I think that if they were put in the scenerio where Shanks would just wiped people would still dread before Red Hair Pirates BECAUSE they are capable of keeping going without him as same as if they still were together with him. They are highly loyal to Shanks where in manga when Shanks was meeting with WB and crew was scared of what was happening at Mob Dick those 3 remained the calmest, unmoved by the situation. Visibly having faith in Shanks. OFC IN ANIME THEY MADE THEM STAY SILENT I AM SO ANGRY ABOUT IT

(also I really like this panel it looks so nice and depicts nicely the mood on Red Force :blush:)

I've always liked Lucky Roux, he gives a great first impression for the series when he completely iced that Bandit guy with 0 remorse as he chows down on some meat.

Lookin forward to seein more of them in the future
