Fuji/Light - claimed D1 so if he’s who they were looking for they’d know
Ultra - claimed miller D1 and if they were looking for Gaius then they could assume he was a miller and go from there

Those are people they actually had info on to make an informed swing at.

I took that so far/literal that I’ve looked up the people with the same rank as that guard to see if any of the characters with that rank talk in a way that I could make this thing make sense lol.
