Luffy vs strongest creature in the world and impressing him, comparing him with the best of the best
Might gai declared the strongest by madara, a god at that point

Which is better?

Night gai easily
It had more impact than the moment with luffy (red roc).
Madara acknowledged gai and it meant something. Kaido and red roc on the other hand didnt feel that impactful. At least to me.

Night guy was so much cleaner, not just in the manga, but the anime. It was clean af, red roc is made me feel like " damn I guess it took Toei long enough to give OP decent animation". Not really that impactful

Tbh, neither were that impactful for me. Red Roc is overhyped and Night Guy was cool, but not impactful. Luffy splitting the sky with Kaido or going G5 was a much better moment than Red Roc lol.

its was immensely impactful with his rival and his rival's tutor watching
Night guy even meant that its nighty night for him after he uses it..

there was just soo much substance in terms of sentiments and character built into that moment that..
alot of things were proven

overpowered beast who was already naturally gifted with a clan of some of the strongest vs PURE AND IMPECCABLE RAWWW MUSCLE GREASE

-Kakashi Acknowledged that he's inferior

- His student watching him topple someone who Hokage's can't even debt


like bruh one of the top best moments in Naruto PERIOD

It just wasn’t for me. When I think of “impactful”, I think of Naruto returning to Konoha after talking to Nagato and then the villagers celebrating his return. THAT is impactful. When I think of “impactful”, I think of Luffy ringing the golden bell or Robin’s “I want to live” or Guts screaming “Griffith!” after you know about all he went through or Gon’s reaction when Pitou told him that Kite couldn’t be healed. Lol “Night Guy” isn’t close to ANY of those moments.
