General & Others Noticed something not mentioned usually

Got hooked on a re-read around the post timeskip part and I noticed that in many of the discussions about Zoro acting as the vice captain I haven't read many times how much Zoro acted like a VC in Fishman Island arc. I mean when the SHs are legit in a tight spot, Luffy missing from the scene (going away with the crybaby), Zoro took control over the whole situation. Negotiated the release of the hostages against safe passage for the whole crew (Brook laughing at Zoro calling Sanji a Pervy Kappa was gold) from Fishman Island is one of the most important things as a VC.

P.S: I can't imagine what this forum would have been like when the 3D2Y message was shown. I mean the thing was teased for so damn long the frustration and theories would have been at an all time high.

I don't know how to share specific panels so you will have to read the chapter, Zoro is dealing with Fukaboshi, the eldest prince.

@SeaTonnes You can check the link too, same chapter we can see Usopp acting like the captain in the presence of Zoro.

It is about Luffy chickening out from his duties (happens all the time or none at all) and at no point in time (as far as I can remember) Usopp has acted as or has been successfully able to take control of the situation like a captain.

Actually makes Zolo fans look bad. We have long suspected most of them don't read the manga. They just read the spoiler threads and fill the holes with head canons. If actually read the manga they would be bringing such instances to the table. Meanwhile it's all ZkK and other shenanigans.

Most people did not read One Piece with agendas in mind.
Unless these are things you are keeping track of in a re-read, you will never recall all the small moments in the series that could potentially be connected to certain debates/arguments.
Goes for every fanbase in OP.
