Character Discussion Zoro's character is a walking contradiction

I think it's fine to criticise Zoro's stance on women and him being a bit hypocritical or atleast inconsistent but it doesn't devalue the character as a whole in my opinion. His dream to be World's Strongest Swordsman is also just fine, he came to the land of the samurai and proved himself superior to all of the Scabbards, even gaining Kaido's acknowledgement (though of course he came short of his stated desires but failure isn't the same as him being a bad character). Mihawk's World's Strongest Swordsman, downplaying his opponent doesn't invalidate Zoro's dreams since you can simply downplay any potential foes but the story made clear long ago, Mihawk's his goal and he'll surpass him.
Zoro's a fine character. From how hard he works to attain his dream and make sure Luffy attains his, to his and Sanji's pretty good understanding of each other despite all the bickering to his relationship with the rest of the crew.

Zoro clearly disagrees with her staying there and ask her to leave and he will take care of things.
This panel shows zoro threatening them both. and questions them that zoro can't cut womens due to reason rather zoro replied
"says WHo" clearly indicating he can.
This panel shows why zoro didn't kill tashigi giving his reasons.
he just can't stand that women consider them weaker in fact he believes them to be equal.
and tashigi made her own prejudices and monet got the same impression that zoro won't cut women but in fact he did.
Zoro clearly says he ain't joking around he will cut her.
and says his job was to protect others and keep her from leaving the room and that he did clearly.
This panel zoro even clearly saves tashigi and says time up. he can't afford to loose more time now.
