I genuinely expect Oda to do this, hence why he keeps insisting on hiding the 10th captains entire identity for this long. it would fit with the themes of betrayals since Punk Hazard too at least.

Caribou knows about Poseidon too. Blackbeard would be very happy to hear about that! Imagine if what Blackbeard said he was going for was Poseidon?! Catarina impersonates Luffy with her DF, they destroy FMI and kidnap Poseidon maybe?

Caribou could have contacted him offscreen as his potential spy in Wano currently and thus be the the kind of spy who nobody cares about, just ignores and lets them do whatever they like, the kind of spy who can hide in plain sight. The one you never expect, kinda like Kanjuro too.
