Tbh I still personally believe Mihawk may show up and be present to fight Zoro, simply because Mihawk and Shanks had a rivalry and it's the only character Mihawk associates with.

Think about it, there's really no other group he fits in with. The Marines, Blackbeard, and even the Gorosei have their own swordsmen for Zoro, and Mihawk is really unlikely to ally with anyone but his former rival.

True....It's possible they only fought for the FA position but Akainu offered a good idea for Aokiji as an advantage?

Like maybe Aokiji was never meant to leave. He'd still be an Admiral but they played the world for this reason.

Think about it, nobody has taken the Aokiji moniker either, Fuji and Ryo were given new names.
