Oda is hyping Shanks up. He named the officers, Film Red is coming out, Luffy is soon going to meet him. Of course this will all end in his defeat by Blackbeard, so here are the match ups I predict. I explain them more in my video. Some other people will also take part in the battle.

Lafitte vs Marco (kick and have wings)
Devon vs Limejuice (Limejice was matched with Lafitte on Marineford but Marco will push him one place down)

Vasco Shot vs Lucky Roux (heavy eater vs heavy drinker, Lucky Luke - Shot)
Avalao Pizarro vs Howling Gab (both are more beast than man)

lafitte is strong:
-has unexplained wings that don't have to be from DF (genetically modified human/special race?)
-was send to marjyoa, dangerous place for pirates
-could reach the fleet admiral without getting noticed
-high ranking navy officers had heard of him
-dodged ace's flame attack
-can hypnotize people
-threatened pizarro
-bosses around proud tough guy burgess
-his match up at marineford was shown right before that of shiryu (the pairs went from weakest to strongest)

Yeh some of these fights are so underdeveloped that I don’t see them happening. If we get Red Hair pirates vs Blackbeard pirates then it’ll only be like Shanks and his 4 main commanders doing them

why would oda create unique designs for the officers, name them all and probably show them off in film red? i believe we will see them all fight. not the complete fights but some attacks and so on.

ngl I just think most of the BB pirates are being reserved for full fights against the SH pirates so we see there abilities then.

Film Red isn’t canon. I just don’t see him doing dedicated shit for characters like Lime Juice.

lime juice is probably the third strongest officer, yassop was there right from the beginnign but that doesn't mean that he isn't the ussop of that crew
