Aokiji was good but still murdered his friend Saul and would’ve killed Robin too eventually. No need to white wash his record, he’s the best admiral they had before time skip but very willing to enforce the WGs laws.

He’s the Hiruzen to Akainu’s Danzo but every bit as willing to go as far as Akainu, but he’ll exhaust other opportunities first. Fuji would never choose the navy over a friend.

Aokiji is pretty much a free spirit in his actions kinda like Kizaru, especially when he deserted

Kizaru is lazy and literally only does what he's told. He doesn't go overboard unlike Akainu and Aramaki.
