Kidd and Law realizing they are not even contenders to be "rival crews"
Law realized it long ago though since he got to know the SH crew level
Kidd on the other hand.. he thought SHs are all about Luffy/Zoro to compare to him/Killer
he doesn't know of the rest of the crew level of strength... people like Sanji/Franky/Brook...etc... and now in this scene.. he only got his first taste of being inferior by seeing a warlord joining Luffy's crew

KiriNigiri

The Road To Harmony
Aside from Jinbe’s return, chapter was pretty average. It’s a transitionary one right before the main fights.

Kanjuro is a lot more dangerous than we thought. However, I wouldn’t get too excited, as we’ve yet to see him do anything to someone credible. We will know for sure with whoever he starts fighting with.

And so begins the downward spiral of Kid’s and Law’s rivalry with Luffy. Getting a former Warlord and strongest fishman as a crew member shows how behind the curve they are strength wise of Luffy. Wait t’ill they see his bounty, and for Kid, when he learns Luffy has two RP with soon a third after the battles.

It’ll be neat to see the kind of interactions Jinbe has with the other Strawhats. There was a bit during FMI, however, now that he’s a permanent member, there’s more opportunity for Oda to establish his various dynamics.

Anyone between Sanji, Zoro and Jinbe would probably be able to defeat Law and Kid's crews together by himself at this point :gokulaugh:

I dont blame Yonko fodder for being overconfident. Their captain is one of the four greatest pirates alive
Oh, sure. But they aren't anything personally. It's funny how much they shit talk Luffy, without none of them realizing he's sitll one of the strongest people alive, and then they subsequently proverbially eat shit, again and again. They never learn.

Law's crew is a joke, Chopper alone can beat them.
Sanji, Zoro or Jinbe would be overkill against Kid's crew, Robin is enough, she low diffs Killer and the rest is fodder.

Now for the Captains, Zoro beats Law, and Sanji or Jinbe beats Kid, no need for Luffy to step in.

Kinemon arrived early on Wano... he made contact with Shinobu... so it's okay if she told him about what happened with her when they were gone

Also... during the flashback of Oden... there was NOT A SINGLE PANEL of her using her DF ability

Meaning when she ate the DF... it happened AFTER thy were transported into the future...
So she could have eaten it in the past 20 years or 10 years or 5 years or whatever...

Also... you talk as if Brook mastered his DF when he had his fruit for over 50 years...

Brook still is evolving... Shinobu can still evolve as well... Luffy the main character who every arc evolves beyond ANY OTHER CHARACTER has his DF for over 13 years and STILLLL mastering it day after day...

mastering a DF is never determined by the amount of time you have it... it all depends on the person and how good he is

Seeing Shinobu's personality which mostly is Gag and comedy... assuming that she has no great application to her DF is not farfetched at all imo EVEN if she has it for years.. she can still grow better...
None of the scabbards have illustrated Df ability in Oden's flashback..
Kinemon had a Df 20 years ago,yet didn't illustrate it during the flashback...Does it mean Kinemon didn't have a Df 20 years ago? Obviously not.
Oda decides whenever he wants to illustrate a character's ability, the character not illustrating said ability doesn't mean they don't have it.
See oden? He was said to have Coc,did he illustrate it? No but we know he has it.Same for Eustass Kid.
Agree with the rest of your post, just that i don't think Oda is going to use Shinobu ability or say she didn't master her devil fruit as you're thinking.
