But if Ryokugyu role was simply to restore Wano fields, why introduce him a Hitler tier bad guy to begin with? Instead of having him being a good person from thet get go?
Or this is all to give Momo a moment?
idk about that
Oden wanted to show he and his scabbards could defend Wano themselves
didn't work
I don't have the feeling the message of the story is that Momo and his retainers need nobody
Greatest of all time.
Zenith of the medium.
Hallmark of media.
Gold standard of storytelling.
Apogee of creativity.
Vertex of invention.
Crest of ingenuity.
Acme of imagination.
Pinnacle of innovation.
Epic of epics.
Legend among legends.
Peak fiction.
This Talk No Jutsu scenario is actually plausible because Momo has been portrayed as a reasonable sort of ruler, more of a careful diplomat than a fighting general, e.g. his decision not to open Wano yet. It's consistent with that image for him to talk Aramaki's way out of Wano. It's also the least tense way to resolve the crisis, which could be what disappointed Drumz.

All through the break you were wanking him to high heavens wearing his avy etc.
But as a BM fan I understand and sympathise when Oda decides to dunk on your favs

This would be disappointing and kill the tension
Oda introduced a nazi like admiral ready for blood just for him to backtrack the following chapter lol.

Yeah he seems to be more like his mother than father in that regard even, Oden was a foolish meathead with a heart of gold somewhat and an absolute Herculean amount of strength ofc.
