But this is a manga in which not getting broken is the point, just saying.
Not really
Getting broken can create a NEW PATH for the character...
We've seen many character who reached the rock bottom only to get back as "better character" and also as "stronger character" with also "stronger motivation and resolve"
Even Luffy experienced that after Marineford...
Law and Kidd are the type of character who act cocky when they NEVER BACKED IT UP
It just makes me puke
Kidd being freed and his ass saved in jail, then he looks at Luffy and say "be thankful I don't take you down now"
I'm like
Law on the bridge against Doflamingo ADMITS that he NEVER intended to take down Kaido.. he only used the SH to destroy smile so that Kaido takes down Doffy.. that's all.. that's his plan.. nothing else...
Then, after getting his ass whopped by Doffy for the second time... and Luffy takes the lead against Doffy... Cavendish talks to Law... and tells him if Doffy gets defeated by their hands... they will be the eye of the storm... and Law the liar acts like Aizen Susuke and says that this was the plan all along...
then goes on to Zou... and completely forgets that he had Bepo vivre card and admits once again that he forgot about it because he never thought he will be back alive...
then e continues to switch between a FAILURE of a planner, and then when SHs make things work, he continues to pretend that his plan is still in motion
The dude is fucking delusional.. and Kidd is fucking Tsundere
At least Hawkins knows when he is defeated.. aknowledge that..thinks about how much they lack compared to Monsters like Yonko... in order for character development in future...He is a god damn logical character
