He should write it the way he wants to without appealing to his audience. Trying to please fans is the quickest way to lose authenticity. He's on the stage and we're in the crowd for good reason.

"This my story but I will try to give my audience a great experience. I hope they’ll be satisfied"
and
"I know that some fans will not like it but I don’t give a fuck, it’s my story"
Every artist owes his crowd something because he would be nothing without us
