This man cant write stakes in an arc even if his life depends on it. He didnt just copy Luffys abilities from Tom & Jerry, he also copied the stakes from a show for 5 year old toddlers.

The difference between GB and your examples is that our heroes had zero chance of beating any of those post-arc antagonists. No one was beating Garp, no one was beating Fujitora etc...
Whereas GB gets roflstomped if the entire alliance jumps him; there is zero tension here whatsoever.
For that reason, it's much more likely GB will be used as a tool to show that Wano can now protect itself. He'll serve as training for Momo, who'll get used to his DF and maybe awaken Haki. He'll obviously lose as he's a typical over-the-top, extra-cocky antagonist.
GB won't go down or anything as Admiral hype needs to be preserved, but I'd be very surprised if he ever makes it to the Strawhats. He'll lose without looking too bad, i.e - pushed off Wano with no way back up.

And yet he couldn't knock Akainu unconscious/splatter his brain against the pavement/explode his entire head off meanwhile Akainu ripped half of his head off.
