Nah, I don't think the comparision works as well too. Crocodile is a former Warlord, someone who was imprisoned in Impel Down Level 6 alongside Ace, Shiryu(!), Invakov & is someone who clashed with Doflamingo, Jozu, Mihawk etc,.
Meanwhile, Zoro fodderized Monet by merely scaring her (with CoC or with BloodLust is debatable, but I think Zoro unconsciously released his Conquerors there).
