This was a few days ago but I waited till now to update cause I forgot lulw
My friend and I are at the part in Water 7 right before the twist with Lucci and Co is revealed. I really wanted to get to that part before I left but sadly we didn't get the chance.
He liked the battle between Usopp and Luffy but asked "where was Usopp's strength before." Overall it was a good time.
Thought that Luffy was in the right in the argument with Usopp and actually got mad at Sanji for kicking Luffy (both that and trying to stop Chopper for giving Usopp medical aid lost points for him rip).
He was not a fan of the plot where Water 7 turns in the Straw Hats after they get fingered for Icebergs attempted assassination. Says that he doesn't want Paulie to join because of it and said he would be on the bottom if he does.
Weirdly he didn't have a big opinion on Franky when he first showed his cyborg stuff, though I imagine that will change as it goes on.
And he was a big fan of the raid on the Franky house and asked if this was one of the more iconic scenes.
I'm probably going over again this Friday and I'm looking forward to the events once the Gally-La twist is revealed.

Oh and about Paulie, I decided to be devilish and started to plant ideas of how he would work as a potential crew member. Lookin forward to his opinion on Franky vs Paulie later.
