Notice how Aramaki never addressed only Shanks. He only gave up because Shanks can only fight Admirals with his whole crew helping him and ganging up on Aramaki.

That's because Shanks has a much stronger Haki than Zoro, which once again doesn't change anything in regards to his fighting style. Zoro literally awakened his CoC like 7 days ago and only experienced it for like less than 5 minutes. I do think Shanks could be more than a swordsman, but no far nothing supports that argument. Mihawk remains superior to Shanks until we get solid evidence suggesting Shanks is not a swordsman.

Funny how Aramaki never addressed Shanks individually in this chapter. Only the crew as a whole. It's as if he thought he would need to fight them all and not just Shanks

He didn't admit anything, he launched an one handed slash at someone he perceived close, we either take it as Mihawk is stronger than the WSM and he's still the strongest in marineford or WB is barely stronger than Mihawk even with the strongest DF that is capable of destroying the world. Or it's about distance.

Big Mom's fucking crazy, but she has a high level of respect for Kaido: she's not going to just destroy his territory for no reason after they made an alliance.
