Oh damn lol. Usopp tends to do a LOT of roles too though to be fair. Carrot could be the artist or cabin girl of the crew or something idk. Its not like the SHs themselves are super strict on roles and such too, I'm sure if Carrot asked to join especially after all they've been through, they wouldn't say no either? She can just join and sail with them?
I mean Whitebeard and Roger ended up getting Izo and the 2 Duke Minks too and Carrot could represent the SH version of the Duke Minks joining too.
Oh no, now I'm ironically trying to come up with reasons Carrot could still join/defend her rights and chances to do so lol. How ironic indeed.
Carrot joining has gone to narrative purgatory with ZKK, Kaido and BM awakenings, Shanks meeting Luffy, Logia awakenings probably and whatever else lol.
Yamato tried to claim she was joining regardless, forcing herself to be part of the crew but at least Carrot would ask nicely/politely and thats how it should be too. I'd much prefer that for any potential SHs, that they ask to join with respect and humility and not insist they are joining the crew regardless lol.

This was a few days ago but I waited till now to update cause I forgot lulw
My friend and I are at the part in Water 7 right before the twist with Lucci and Co is revealed. I really wanted to get to that part before I left but sadly we didn't get the chance.
He liked the battle between Usopp and Luffy but asked "where was Usopp's strength before." Overall it was a good time.
Thought that Luffy was in the right in the argument with Usopp and actually got mad at Sanji for kicking Luffy (both that and trying to stop Chopper for giving Usopp medical aid lost points for him rip).
He was not a fan of the plot where Water 7 turns in the Straw Hats after they get fingered for Icebergs attempted assassination. Says that he doesn't want Paulie to join because of it and said he would be on the bottom if he does.
Weirdly he didn't have a big opinion on Franky when he first showed his cyborg stuff, though I imagine that will change as it goes on.
And he was a big fan of the raid on the Franky house and asked if this was one of the more iconic scenes.
I'm probably going over again this Friday and I'm looking forward to the events once the Gally-La twist is revealed.
