So since you are the captain, we are stuck in the east blue
yes. we're basically the don krieg pirates

so shanks is top 1 now right?
if that whats everyone agreed then my argument is irrelevant
no, your argument is that none of the OG3 backed down from Shanks

The problem is that we can literally see Shanks flexing insanely high level haki on GB but not on the OG3.

So that's a bad argument.

Why do you keep mentioning fillers like they matter?
Dude. This whole chapter is a reference and promotion for Film Red.
We SEE Uta in the chapter.
And the Shanks-GB thing is literally a direct reference to what happens in the movie.

There's no reason to think it would play out any differently in canon. It's not like Film Z or Strongworld, we're in the final saga right now so depictions of character power levels are much more likely to be accurate.

The "GB and Fuji are just way weaker than OG3 thing" is literally just a coping mechanism.

Alright fellas, in Water 7 my friend and I reached the point where Nami learns the truth of Robin's deal from Iceberg

Sadly did not have the reaction to the Gally-La betrayal that I expected but he acknowledged that it was a good twist. He also thought Franky's connection to Iceberg was interesting as well. Though he was a bit disappointed that Kaku was a villain, but happy that Tilestone was still good.

Said that Lucci's leopard farm is goofy as fuck and that his human form was far more intimidating.

Made fun of the top secret organization constantly leaving witnesses.

Pointed out that Kalifia's clothing after the CP9 reveal was definitely made for fanservice compared to the other member's secret agent suits.

Had a laughing fit at the anime scene where the flames of the building reflected off of Hatori's (the bird's) eyes.

We both made a joke that Lucci was unrecognizable under the mask when he used when he attacked the Franky family

Thought the concept of Water 7 being a sinking city was interesting.

During the scene between Franky and Usopp in Franky's hideout that he would definitely want Franky to join the crew over Paulie. He definitely does not know which one is joining rn. @Ghostly Reflections

Really liked Franky's flashback and Tom as a character. Said Spandam was the pettiest character in the series.

Funniest part for me, said he would really hate it if Sanji ends up fighting against Kalifa lulw

Another funny part that reminded me of this forum. When Franky grabbed Blueno and overpowered him I made a comment on how strong Franky was. My friend said that Blueno is probably the weakest member instead. @solis

Not too much as it was a couple of more slower episodes, but we're getting close to the seatrain chase. I'm curious on how that will affect his view on Sanji

Plus everything with Sogeking as well, plus everything onward to Eines Lobby.

And in the movie its said Kizaru and Fuji don't fight to escalate the situation and cause destruction, there's no fear from them.

But that's not even the point, Kizaru's always been portrayed as closer to Akainu than Aokiji was and Aokiji pushed Akainu to a solid high diff. So if Kizaru ain't all that neither is Akainu, which is next to impossible.

I think Oda could very easily write Akainu to be notably/significantly more powerful than the current admirals including Kizaru and while it would feel odd at first it would work storywise.

It was extreme diff or very very high diff

:kobeha::kobeha::kobeha::kobeha::kobeha:

Maybe the positives will balance in his favor.
Sanji's solo mission on the train and his minor interactions with Usopp, especially during the "hunter" part in Ennies Lobby, are some of "peak Sanji" times.

Sanji+Usopp is most definitely an underrated dynamic that got completely lost post-TS in favor of doubling down on ZvsS shenanigans. Really wasted potential.

Sogeking intro song is 100/10. Hope he enjoys it. :P

What did he think about the explanation for the "ghost" that repaired the Merry during Skypie?

I think you guys are putting too much stock in the difficulty of the battle between Aokiji and Akainu.

Again, Oda could literally just write it that Akainu got massively stronger whereas Aokiji didn't and while jank it would work.

I'm genuinely coming around to the idea that depending on what Oda does Akainu could mid diff any of the current three admirals.

Akainu can do it due to the fact that Akainu is Luffy's Admiral opponent.
It is basically required.

Didn't have a big reaction to it, thought it was interesting
But yea Sanji on the seatrain will be a highlight
Seeing Sanji actually kick at Kalifia in op 6 will also be a highlight
Then he'll get pissed at Sanji getting nerfed by a women again lmao
But that should come back again once Diable Janbe comes back
