My top 10 games form childhood:
1-Gothic 2 Night of the Raven,Gothic 1 and Gothic 3.
2-Never winter nights series.
3-Counter Strike 1.6.
4-GTA San Andreas.
5-Unreal Tournament 2003.
6-Crusaders of might and magic.
7-Myth series:the fallen lords,soulblighter and the wolf age.
8-Doom1 and 2(old school windows 95 version).
9-Half-Life.
10-Battlefield series:1942,etc...
I bought Baldurs gate 1 and 2 a couple of years ago on steam,i will give them a try one of these days.

I remember buying a Ghotic CD at a bootleg stand on a local fair when I was a kid. Came home and ofc the game couldn't be installed

I have faith they will deliver a good remake.They already fucked up with gothic 3,Arcania gothic 4 and Risen 2/3.No way they will shit on the original gothic.They are listening to the fans feedback,this is just an alpha.i'm sure they will bring back the old dark feel from the colony.I loved how everyone treated you like shit in these games.
Legendary game, so ahead of its time. I replayed it a couple of months ago still top notch.
One particular game was a strategy defense game with mythical creatures like giant spiders, where you use a resource called mana. But for years I cannot seem to remember the name
