He did much better when he was keeping to the ground. His record against people who can also fly is not anything to boast about.

And Queen does not need to be able to fly for Sanji to use his own aerial abilities. Just like Vergo and Page One, he can zip around them with Skywalk and the boosters. That's where Sanji's strong suit actually lies

If you think King hasn't been shown superior, why do you have him >= Queen and not just equal?

It's a shame how RS has got a good defence output but sadly didn't elevate Sanji to high yonko commander level due its lack of substantial physical boost.

Also Sanji's haki is still nowadays poor compared to the one of people on Kuri's level.

Because sanji vs doffy in the sky was a huge advantage for sanji

Even if king flies around the galaxy, he needs to come close to zoro to fight him.
