You can argue that Nami was more prominent pre timeskip, but that was 15 years ago and since then oda has focused much more heavily on the monster trio as the primary characters

Nami was never more ``prominent`` than Sanji, Nami does not have moments like Sanji`s mr prince one, saving everyone, then he did the same with the gate of justice, Sanji saved nami vs absalon in morias mansion*he did the same in little garden when he discovered the log that make possible the saving of nami, man also blocked a gatling gun from oars, that was a move big enough to shake the entire island, etc. Dunno where tf this nami is more important that Sanji to the story comes from when Sanji moved the plot in wcl for the sh to get another red poneglyph, in wano Sanji is more important also, in ph Sanji, fishmen islands Sanji, dressrosa Sanji, in every fucking arc Sanji.

Nami is emotional anchor of the manga. That's why Nami is used for many emotional scene. Nami gets some kind of character moment in every arc ,you can't say same about other character. People have a habit of judging character how strong they are.

The only one arc Nami is less relevant than Sanji is wano or Barati. Wano is first time Zoro is focus of arc in post-time skip.People just have a short term memory. Sanji and Zoro character arc has already ended. The focus will shift on Usopp and Nami now.

Nami has done way more relevant things in post-time skip than both Zoro and Sanji. Fishmen island used two character Nami and Luffy to address the chain hatred. Even shit arc like Lunch hazard has great Nami scene.

People bring Dressrosa the Sanji was the one who declared the captain. Forgetting that ship wasn't going to move without Nami permission. It Nami that convince Luffy that they are gonna leave Dressrosa, he wasn't listening to anyone.

People of Zou was saved by Nami , despite Sanji refusing to help.
Nami clearly acted as Vice captain in WCI. Despite it being Sanji arc , Nami nearly has same panels time as him. You all like to powerscale. Nami defeated Cracker technically , Sanji defeated no one.

Onigashima Nami has better character scenes than any other strawhats. This arc definitely doesn't focus on her much but it's one out of all. It's just short-term memory and nothing else.

Don't just ignore first 10 years also.

Nami is also the one who binds this crew together. Oda likes to show how much Nami cares about crewmates more than any other strawhats.
The only dynamic she was lacking was with Franky which we got in Onigashima.

Question should be ask if Zoro is as relevant as Sanji or Nami
