Character Discussion Who is more relevant? Sanji or Nami?

#81
She used to have strong on-panel presence pre-TS. She doesn’t anymore.
Stop while you're behind. Zoro and Nami were specifically highlighted in Wano alone with the most important character moments outside of Wano.

Sanji abandons the mission to hunt for hookers and Nami talks down a Yonko to his face. Enough. The insecurity isn't a good look.

1.) You're full of shit, somebody posted the quote in this thread
2.) Being strong is not being Nami
3.) Oda literally drew the three of them together in honor of Chapter 1000 in a special cover.

Get over the insecurity.
The color walk title is your only proof?
Oda literally drew the monster trio seperate from the rest of the crew on the volume 100 cover page

By this logic, Robin is the most important and revelant character in the story BY FAR.

Every single pirate will know how to reach Laugh tale (Oda can find many way to do it , he already introduce characters that can do the same thing as Robin). It's Nami that is gonna make difference. You actually think there is not gonna be any race.

I don’t. I think it’ll just be a battle. Liffy won’t be just the first to make it, he’ll probably be the only one to make it.

That was a great moment, sure. I loved Kaido acknowledging her. But how does that make her an important player?

Was she the one making deal with Momo rescue Wano like she did with Vivi? Did she stand alongside Luffy and instruct Zoro to cut down the beanstalk like she did in Skypeia? Did she rescue Luffy and Zoro and fed them to get them up for fight like she did in Water 7?

Her saying that Luffy Isn't dead or Luffy will be pirate king is pretty stale at this point.

Its embarassing that you even asked how Kaido, the strongest person Luffy has ever fought and one of the four strongest in the world, actually acknowledging Nami makes her important. Nami was put in that position, not Sanji.

Speaking of Kaido, Nami was one of two people present for the formation of the alliance that brought Kaido down. Again, stop while you're far behind.

Nami has driven post timeskip in a fashion that only Luffy and Zoro have. Its embarassing to say otherwise.

I simply don't want to bring these things like they do with Nami. Both Sanji and Zoro are too most useless members of strawhats. And also both character have too many problem. Their character are repetitive and same thing over and over. Don't want to make people here as we are outnumbered here, so I better talk only about Nami

Nami is tertiary side character whos only job now is fanservice :kayneshrug:
This is such a myth. Nami was heavily involved in the main themes of damn near every arc.

Fishman island = Victim of racism/ resolution with Jimbei.

Punk Hazard = Saved and freed the kidnapped, drugged, and experimented on children.

Zou = Was the most highlighted strawhat, she was narrating the Sanji flashback.

WCI = Emotional anchor throughout the entire arc, when Luffy was fighting Katakuri she was the one giving the strawhats a reminder on respecting the Captain's order. She was also pivotal in taking down a sweet commander.

I don't even know why people keep parroting this when Nami is more prominent than probably even Zoro in most arcs, or are we judging by panels dedicated to fights only? Every strawhat bar Luffy took a hit post skip Nami is no different but even among the strawhats she saw her role reduced the least.
