But even without ZKK, I feel Oda failed Zoro's character despite clearly setting up some plotlines

I agree. I think him not visiting Ryuma grave is easily one of the most bullshit things that’s happened in the manga.

I think we’ll see which is the fluke. But I think the reason this one might be the fluke is because Oda has straight up lost the ability to write character moments for Zoro unless it’s directly related to his strength

Im thinking it’ll be the Vegapunk arc and connected to Elbaf that way oda can do all of it in one arc

My hope is that Oda stops introducing 145214 characters and plotlines every arc from now. Then he can give Straw Hats moments and end the series in a reasonable timeframe. i really pray he learned.
