what is actually ruining the story is focusing on useless stalling panels....for example, scabbards vs Aramaki...and focus on not so important for the plot characters....

pre-ts it wasn't at the expense of the crew, it was much more balanced
Luffy was the main character but it didn't feel like he was taking everything away from the rest.
but yeah, pointless sideplots and side characters are the true cancer of the manga
