I don't get why some users are so obsessed with seeing Katakuri getting an L or having an L, when during the Wano arc we've seen the villains getting nothing but constant L.

The only villains that got some sort of W during the Wano arc was Kanjuro and Maha because at least those two succesfully killed someone on the protagonist side.

Pretty sure most people are just salty at how katakuri is portrayed managing to be the "the big baddie" of the arc.
Even if he got the "Crocodile" treatment, they try to powerscale him based on Luffy and its "protagonism" effect.

Nah. The last SBS Oda was clear that the Germa modifications were about to take him over.
Seeing the mouse was basically the trigger that stopped it from hapenning.
