Was Wano one of the worst arcs in One Piece? How do you rate wano?

I like it more that Law isn't left behind tbh, hence why I would still push him as that, if Kidd vs BM happened in a 1v1 then Law would for sure be left behind, and that power of his would go to waste.
Agreed. I didn't expect Law and Kid coming out of Wano looking this good.

I really do think Law/Kid vs Fuji/Ryo is a possibility given the theme and that they all are portrayed so equal to each other.

Katakuri really gonna lose to this clown? Never put him near doffy ever again...
Everybody can "lose" against Caesar Clown, he controls gas, he controls poison. Magellan was that dangerous not because he was a "high top tier whatever crap fans make up" nor because he was a beast of a fighter but because he's walking poison; take the Doku Doku from him and he'd be dead by now. Caesar negged five powerful fighters just by taking oxygen away; then Luffy was lucky he fought Magellan before because Caesar used deadly poisons against him; his satyrs negged the crew in the Sunny with gas, the Yeti Cool Brothers put three Straw Hats to sleep, shinokuni had everybody running for their lives and Jack destroyed the whole mink tribe with gas even though they had been fighting for five days without success.

Caesar Clown is weak as a fighter, but he's dangerous as hell if he takes you by surprise. One Piece characters are still human; it doesn't matter your made up power level if you're facing poison and gas.

Yeah same I rather have them take on an admiral.

Kidd vs Ryokugyu - Magnet junk robot facing the power of mother nature

Law vs Fujitora - can counter his meteors and gravity.

Or Law vs Kizaru - developed a soundproof room, lightproof room (dark room which might be haki based) to prevent light

Caesar has been portrayed as a joke ever since PH ended.

Just look back at the rooftop fiasco, he was toyed with by freakin Brulee of all people.

Now he manages to save Germa from a BM veteran and Katakuri of all people?

What happened to Katakuri's future sight ffs? The way he was portrayed at WCI (neg diffing Ichiji, not even caring about Caesar etc.) he would have easily clapped them.

That's the issue here.

It's just another case of brutally inconsistent writing.

I genuinely have no idea how will Oda handle the Kuzan/BB plotline.

Heck, at the end nothing might happen between the two just like many Wano plotline
Think of how he handled Drake infiltrating Kaidou and there you have your answer.

I legit don't trust Oda in this regard. Most characters involved in his plots end up going here and there but never actually do a thing. In fact, no Supernova working for Kaidou did anything of value; that's three seemingly important characters wasted without a clear role.

Zoro vs Mihawk at that time and who knows who Kizaru might fight. I'm not against it being Sanji. People are too harsh with him. Sanji will be Top Tier eventually.

If anything, what is happening now is the consistent writing and his joke treatment was the mistake. Also I wouldn't compare this situation (Katakuri and Oven focused on the siblings and Caesar sneaking his gas) with the rooftop; there he was the actual focus and shot at by tons of armament users trying to kill him plus the many people he had to run away with).

As Oda said
"Racism is only fine when it's the good guys who do it"
:goyea:
It's actually the one part of the chapter I find refreshing.

1) It isn't racism. It's not going against a race or anything, just against a certain clan.

2) It is much more relatable than the old "oh, everything is forgiven now, no hard feelings anymore" bullshit. Motherfuckers killed her family and ruined Wano. No way I would forgive those assholes, even if it isn't the "morally correct thing to do". They could rot in hell for all I care.

3) Orochi and Kanjuro were the last Koruzumi anyway, so it's not like some offspring will get targeted. They just made sure that the Koruzumi name will (rightfully) forever be hated in Wano history.

You can't portray him as a joke and then flip-flop back again, that's bullshit.

If he was always portrayed as the PH antagonist - ok, I can sign off that development.

But not like this.
