We never saw this part

Denjiro came in from nowhere and saved Hiyori by killing Orochi in an instant.

He then hugged her.

Here in this manufactured flashback, Orochi is still alive (albeit burning) when Denjiro and Hiyori are standing there and Hiyori supposedly says the words.

ven if Kaido was gonna die this arc, we all expected his death to be something akin to whitebeard's, but the reality was nowhere near close.

Literally only Kaidou wanted glorious death. Getting glorious death like Whitebeard was Kaidou dream. Kaidou dying unknown is fitting for him as villains dreams got ruined is One piece recurring theme.
