First: As it was implied in the chapter 1056, Kid has unfinished business with Buggy and is particulary pissed off that the clown has became a yonkou. But why that? My best bet is that sometime during the time skip they fought for Captain John's treasure and as expected, Buggy had the lucky upper hand, leaving Kid with a bitter taste of defeat. Buggy had the armband that Luffy gave him at Impel Down, but what about Kid? This could explain how nowadays Buggy would have enought berries to pay for the bounty of the navy, and this could also reinforce the theory that Kid is related to Captain John (his son, maybe?).
Second: The man marked by flames. In the same chapter, we learned that Kid is going after a man marked by flames that might know a hint of One Piece. While there is a wide fan of possibilities (Ao Kiji, Sabo, any tenriuubyto former slave, Jaguar D. Saul, the misterious guys of the Twin Cape sharing a booze with Croucs, chapter 61), my best bet, for now is that the said man is a man named Roche Thomson (i got this idea from the brazilian youtube channel named Chapéu de Palha). Who is Roche Thomson? At first, was a man whose name appeared in a list in the chapter 536, paage 5 from Impel Down alongside Ivankov, Pandaman and George Black being held by Hannyabon-Clay (future mugiwara of Revolutionary!!!)
But, if we go back deeper, in Ohara's flashback, there was a man named Roche and was an archeologist. Oda does not give the same nem to different characters, so we can assume that they are the same character. Why would Roche Thomson be the man marked by flames and could have a hint for One Piece? He was someone that was in that ship that Akainu exploded, and since he survived, it would make sense that he had his body burnt with flame scars and since he can read the poneglyphs, he would be as important as Robin to reach Laftel, and that could explain why Robin felt curious. Buggy, as a yonkou, would have someone as capable as Robin in his crew since Impel Down and we would only realize it many years later.
