It's playing near my home. I love that Piccolo is a main focus and I should go to theater to watch it. But I won't, because watching these in theaters with other anime fans aren’t the best experience.

Regardless of quality, lack of Goku/Vegeta and return of Gohan is a plus/refreshing for many.

Maybe because it was a piccolo centric movie

But I can see why people wouldn't like how dragon ball is going these days.
I myself would've rated it 5/10 with no piccolo
